Watch points
Free plan only exports as TXT — no PDF download without paying
The trial auto-renews into a recurring charge if you don't cancel, so set a reminder
It's a template/builder tool, not an ATS-keyword-matching tool — pair it with a scanner like Jobscan if ATS optimization is your main concern

What Resume.io actually does
Resume.io is a resume and cover letter builder centered on clean, professional templates rather than AI-driven ATS keyword matching. The free plan lets you build one resume and cover letter, but only exports as plain text — PDF export requires a paid plan.
Who it's a good fit for
If your main problem is formatting and presentation rather than ATS keyword matching, Resume.io's template library and ease of use are its main selling points. It's not built to tailor your resume to a specific job description the way JobOwl or Rezi are — think of it as the layer on top of that work, not a replacement for it.
Questions
Can I download a PDF for free?
No — the free plan only exports in TXT format. PDF downloads require the paid trial or a recurring plan.
Does the 7-day trial auto-renew?
Yes, based on Resume.io's own pricing page: the trial auto-renews into a recurring charge unless cancelled first.
