KVS Admission 2020: Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) will release the official KVS admission 2020 notification for STD 1 to 12 within the last week of February 2020. The admission form of Kendriya Vidyalaya for STD is going to be released within the first week of March 2020. The KVS admission form for STD is going to be accepted in online mode on kvsonlineadmission.in. for STD 1 admission, the minimum age to use is 5 years. Parents/Guardians can submit the Kendriya Vidyalaya admission 2020 forms free of cost.

The Kendriya Vidyalaya admission 2020 for STD 2 to 12 admissions are going to be conducted in offline mode. Parents/guardians will need to submit a KVS admission form 2020 at respective KVs for STD 1 to 12. The admission in Kendriya Vidyalaya is going to be made a supported priority and lottery system. the choice list is going to be displayed in online and offline mode. KVS 2020 Eligibility Criteria:

Age Criteria:
For Class I: The minimum age is five years and the maximum age are seven years
For Class II: The minimum age are six years and maximum age are eight years
For Class III: The minimum age are seven years and most age are nine years
For Class IV: The minimum age are eight years and most age are ten years
For Class V: The minimum age are nine years and most age are eleven years
For Class VI: The minimum age are ten years and the maximum age are twelve years
For Class VII: The minimum age are eleven years and maximum age are thirteen
For Class VIII: The minimum age are twelve years and most age are fourteen years
For Class IX: The minimum age are thirteen years and most age are fifteen years
For Class X: The minimum age are fourteen years and the most age are sixteen years.

KVS 2020 Application Fee:

Applicants will collect the application form from the school principal free of cost.
No registration fee is needed.

List of Documents to be attached with the Application Form:

For Class I: birth certificate issued by the authority.
For other Classes: Date of birth certificate together with recorded within the transfer certificate issued by the school recognized by the State education department.
Admission till class VIII are given with no school transfer certificate.
Provide a certificate of retirement for uniformed Defense personnel if needed
Proof of Residence is required.
Handicapped or physically challenged candidates are needed to produce the certificate from a civil surgeon or by the rehabilitation center.
ST/EWS/ SC/OBC and BPL classes candidates are needed to produce the certificate issued by the state or by the union government.

KVS Admission Process 2020:

For Class I:
The admission is divided into 2 phases.
Candidates are required to show the proof of the neighborhood.
Neighborhood or Resident Proof
Proof of residence is obligatory to produce by all candidates else admission won’t be denied at all.
The parents are needed to provide a self-declaration concerning the distance is also accepted to this effect.
Every Kendriya Vidyalaya will create a committee for the purpose of monitoring a system of Draw of lots for class I.

For Class II to Class VIII:
The admission are granted based on the Priority category system.
There will be no Admission test from classes II to VIII.
There will be a lottery system in every class comprises of single girl child quota if the number of candidates more than the number of available seats

For Class IX:
There will be a commencement of the admission test.
After the conduct of the admission test, a merit list is prepared.
Admission are granted as per the merit within the proper sequence of priority classes.
The merit list is prepared for each class of priority several.

For Class XI:
There is no upper and lower age limit for admission into class XI.
Admission is done on the basis of marks obtained in class X.
Science Stream-Students should have obtained at least 60% marks aggregate in all the topics.
Humanities Stream-All students who have passed the class X examination
Commerce Stream-Students should have obtained a minimum of 55% marks aggregate in all the subjects.

For Class XII:
Admission to class XII in varied streams are based on the merit list.
The merit list will be prepared on the basis of the CGPA produced by the student in class X.
The class strength is 40% per stream.
Various streams are Humanities, Commerce as well as Science.

KV Admission 2020 Selection Procedure:

Preference is given as
For central govt. employees’ ward.
For the army and ex-army man child.
For Govt. employees
For the single girl child quota.
For private or self-employed personnel.

Preference for defense/central and state government job:
For the ward of transferable central govt. staff and ex-servicemen.
For non-transferable central government worker and ex-servicemen.
For the ward of PSU/ autonomous bodies/ Institute if Higher Learning of GOI.
For the transferable state government employees.
For the ward of state government non-transferable employees.
For the children of any class if seats are vacant.
