TS SET Eligibility Criteria: The Osmania University (OU) has conducted the Telangana State Eligibility Test (TSSET) to select the candidates for the post of Lecturers/Assistant Professors in Degree Colleges/Universities as per the University Grants Commission Regulations.
Those candidates have an interest and eligible to get this post; they will apply during this test by filling the application form through online mode by visiting the official website. In this test each year many of the applicants may appear during this test on the basis of their Eligibility Criteria. TS SET 2021 Eligibility Criteria:
Those applicants are going to apply during this examination, they need to have to check their Eligibility Criteria before applying and therefore the Eligibility Criteria mentioned below.
Applicants can appear during this test if they have completed or pursuing the final year of PG degree in related subjects with a minimum of 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s Degree OR equivalent exam from universities/institutions recognized by UGC are eligible for SET.
If BC/SC/ST/Physically Challenged (PH/VH) category candidates have obtained 50% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s degree or equivalent exam, they will apply during this exam.
Candidates with a minimum of 55% marks in Master’s Degree exam (or) equivalent are going to be able to get a job of Lectureship.
Those are the Ph.D. holder, they can also apply during this test and there’ll be a relaxation of 50% of marks from 55% to 50% to appear within the SET Exam.
Those applicants are going to be qualified during this test; they will apply for the post of Asst. Professors /Lecturers in various universities and degree colleges of higher education in Telangana.
There is no upper age limit to apply during this examination.

TS SET Exam Pattern 2021:
Candidates appearing within the TSSET Examination must need to prefer the exam pattern for the higher preparation of examination. The Test will contain two papers. Both the papers will contain only objective type questions and can be held in 3 Hours of duration in one session as under:
Paper-I: 100 Marks & 50 questions all are compulsory.
Paper-II: 200 Marks & 100 questions all are compulsory.
Duration of Test: 3 Hours.
Paper I: There’ll be 50 objective type compulsory questions each carrying 2 marks.
Paper-II: There’ll be 100 objective type compulsory questions each carrying 2 marks which can be supported the subject selected by the candidate.
